CITILIVE – Upaya meningkatkan kepedulian warga terhadap kesehatan mental terus digalakkan berbagai pihak, termasuk mahasiswa. Kelas Keperawatan 5A Stikes Maharani Malang menggelar kegiatan edukasi bertema “Pengaturan Peran Masyarakat dalam Mencegah Bunuh Diri melalui Program: Desa Sadar Kesehatan Jiwa” di Kelurahan Dinoyo, Kota Malang, Sabtu (29/11/2025).
Kegiatan yang berlangsung sejak pukul 09.00 WIB tersebut dihadiri Kepala Kelurahan Dinoyo, Edwin Daniel Seputra, S.H., M.MG., M.AP., bersama staf kelurahan. Hadir pula dosen psikiatri dan pembimbing acara, Ns. Kurnia Laksana, S.Kep., M.Kep., CH., CHt., beserta beberapa dosen keperawatan Stikes Maharani Malang.
Suasana edukatif dan hangat terasa sejak acara dibuka. Ratusan peserta—mulai dari warga Kelurahan Dinoyo hingga seluruh mahasiswa Keperawatan 5A—ikut aktif mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan. Sebagai bagian dari mata kuliah Keperawatan Jiwa, program ini menjadi kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk belajar langsung bagaimana pendekatan kesehatan mental dilakukan di lingkungan masyarakat.
Tidak hanya penyuluhan, panitia juga menyediakan layanan pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar. Warga yang hadir bisa mengukur tekanan darah, berat badan, dan tinggi badan secara gratis. Pemeriksaan ini menjadi pintu masuk untuk mengenalkan pentingnya kesehatan fisik sebagai pendukung kesehatan mental.
“Desa Sadar Kesehatan Jiwa bukan hanya konsep, tetapi gerakan agar masyarakat bisa lebih peka terhadap gejala-gejala risiko bunuh diri, tahu ke mana harus meminta bantuan, serta mampu saling menjaga,” ujar pembimbing acara, Ns. Kurnia Laksana, dalam sesi penyampaian materi.
Acara berlangsung lancar hingga selesai, ditutup dengan pembagian bingkisan kepada warga yang hadir. Bingkisan tersebut berasal dari mahasiswa dan pihak sponsor yang mendukung kegiatan.
Melalui program ini, mahasiswa berharap warga Dinoyo dapat semakin sadar pentingnya kesehatan jiwa dan berani membuka ruang diskusi terkait masalah mental. Kegiatan ini sekaligus menjadi bentuk kontribusi nyata perguruan tinggi dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih peduli, tanggap, dan sehat secara holistik. (Ab/Sh)
