Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Malang Lestarikan Permainan Tradisional
Malanglive – Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Kota Malang menggelar kegiatan pengenalan dan lomba permainan tradisional di Museum Pendidikan Kota Malang, Senin (14/11/2023). Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 200 peserta dari perwakilan sekolah dasar (SD) yang ada di lima kecamatan di Kota Malang.
Kegiatan ini dibuka langsung oleh Kepala Bidang Kebudayaan Disdikbud Kota Malang, Yuli Handayani SE.MM. Dalam sambutannya, Yuli menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kembali permainan tradisional kepada anak-anak, khususnya di Kota Malang.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan ajang silaturahmi sekaligus untuk memperkenalkan budaya tradisi bermain yang mungkin sekarang tidak pernah dilaksanakan lagi,” ujar Yuli.
Dalam kegiatan ini, para peserta diajak untuk bermain berbagai macam permainan jadul, seperti engrang, dakon, engklek, dan lainnya. Selain itu, juga diadakan lomba permainan tradisional untuk memperebutkan piala dan hadiah menarik.
Salah satu peserta, amir dari sd kelas 5 mengaku senang bisa mengikuti kegiatan ini. Ia mengaku baru pertama kali bermain egrang.
“Senang bisa ikut lomba egrang. Ini pertama kalinya saya main egrang,” ujarnya.
Yuli berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan minat anak-anak untuk bermain game tradisional. Selain itu, juga dapat melestarikan budaya Indonesia.
“Kami berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan minat anak-anak untuk bermain permainan jadul. Selain itu, juga dapat melestarikan budaya Indonesia,” pungkas Yuli.

Selain untuk melestarikan budaya, permainan ini juga memiliki berbagai manfaat bagi anak-anak, antara lain:

Meningkatkan keterampilan motorik
Meningkatkan kemampuan bersosialisasi
Mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional
Meningkatkan rasa percaya diri
Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memperkenalkan permainan tradisional kepada anak-anak sejak dini.
